Is Erwin McManus contemplating opening a bar?

According to Trade Markia.com, on Monday, October 19, 2009, a U.S. federal trademark registration was filed for TABLE FOOD FOR THOUGHT. This trademark is owned by McManus Studios, LLC.

The TABLE FOOD FOR THOUGHT trademark is filed in the category of Restaurant and Hotel Services . The description provided to the USPTO for TABLE FOOD FOR THOUGHT is Restaurant and bar services.

The street address given for this registration is almost identical to the one listed at the California Business Portal for McManus Studios, LLC. The name of the person listed as the Agent for Service of Process is Erwin McManus' secretary.

I guess if you get used to holding church services in a bar, then why not own one?

After all, according to Erwin McManus, "the church is not a building."

Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name . . .

Anonymous,

Thanks for the reminder but I'm not really behind on my research, I already know about those but I'm very busy working on an important environmental issue right now and don't have as much time to spend on this blog anymore.

By the way, I've seen "Casket" and frankly, I wasn't that impressed by it.

I just hope that if McManus and company do win the 5 million dollars they'll do the right thing and share it with Mosaic. It would be even better if he refunds the $700,000 to the original donors of the Church on Brady who answered his call for "sacrificial giving." After all, they never got the new church he promised them.

Hi... thanks for this web site... an ex of mine joined this church a year ago... and I go a gander of Erwin on the mosaic web site and got a bad feel... and eventually found this site... he seems very corrupt... the big guestion is...

Is he a minister or is he not a minister… is mosaic a church or not a church and if not a church then why does it not pay taxes like every other for profit org in the county... it sounds like is a for profit venture with book deals, movies, temple bags, etc... these things are not non-profit activities... like feeding the homeless, caring for the sick, helping the elderly... and as my grandmother always said... if some stinks then something is rotten...

I looked at his bio... and it is pretty stinky...
